I am reminded of the illustration that Beth Moore gave in her Believing God Bible study session where she was teaching about Gilgal and the removal of the reproach in Joshua.
I think it was the first time that I had a tangible illustration of what it means to wear the identity of Christ.
To think that whatever my reproach is, whatever my "stigma" may be, that when I allow myself to come full-circle in Christ and come out on the other end of bondage with faith and victory, I can allow Christ to perform a spiritual circumcision and remove the reproach, be covered with His blood and step out with a new garment that is Christ, that is who He is, that is His identity – no longer who I used to believe I was on my own, but now His in Him.
Jude 1:24-25 To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy–to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
