Here's what I wrote in my study...Come this September I will be taking a break from work. Looking back over our marriage, I can see where my job has been a "functional god" in our lives. Depending on it to provide instead of wholly depending on God. Even despite Casey's desire to take over work-wise and my desire to just be mom, we haven't been able to fully trust in God's provision in that area. Well, only a couple more months and it we'll have no choice. I am learning how to trust the power of God to protect and provide for my family.
